Andy has been everything you could hope for in a dog trainer. Knowledgeable, attentive, generous with his time, and results-driven while articulating techniques in a way that both you and your dog can understand. He understands the psychology behind why a dog behaves in a certain way and is able to train you as the leader on how to overcome those issues. My dog is a rescue that has anxiety related to interacting with other dogs. Andy's guidance has provided measured improvement when I didn't think that was possible after my previous underwhelming training experiences. I have already referred Andy to my family. They had a completely different set of challenges with their puppy, but have now experienced similar success after working with him. We absolutely loved Andy and truly saw same day results. Not only did we learn training tactics but the reasons behind them and how dogs communicate. It was also great to have it done in the home because he saw our dog's everyday environment. He addressed our main concerns, gave us a plan to work through and we are definitely seeing progress. I was truly impressed with my interaction with BARK BUSTERS! Andy was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I must admit that I was expecting some rough looking HERCULES dude ?; but instead I got the "boy next door." So in my mind, I was like how in the world is this guy going to be able to control my pitbull if she so happens to get loose; but Andy had it all figured out! Initially my dog was not receptive to him at all. She was barking and growling. It was obvious that she didn't want him in "our" house. So he tried to win her trust by giving her treats, which she gladly took; but once he stopped, the growling began again! ? So at that point he asked that we place her in a different room while we discussed her behavioral history, as well as the current behavior he observed through her body language. After our discussion, we did some role playing and used a few of the techniques he gave us, and low and behold, it actually worked!!! I could NOT believe my eyes! Once we brought her up from the basement and did what he told us to do, it was if we were dealing with a completely different dog!! I honestly did NOT think that his techniques would work on the first try!! We were all pleasantly pleased!! Then the BIG TEST came when I took her for a walk, as he followed closely behind. To my surprise, for the FIRST TIME in 4 years, I was actually WALKING HER, and not the other way around! ? The few times that she slightly edged in front of me, I did what Andy told me to do, and she listened to my command and waited for ME to take the lead!!! O M G!! It literally felt so surreal because her behavior had drastically changed in less that 3hrs!! Although I know that I'm going to have to continue to implement these new techniques and boundaries, it still boggles my mind how she was able to adjust so quickly. I was thinking that it was going to at least take a month or so for us to get her to this point; but clearly I was wrong! So I would highly recommend BARK BUSTERS to anyone that wants to learn how to communicate with their dogs effectively, and not have to stress and/or panic over their destructive behaviors ever again! KUDOS TO YOU ANDY FOR DOING SUCH A PHENOMENAL JOB! I l look forward to our next session!! THANKS A MILLION!!!

Andy was very thorough and professional; we were able to see the value of the advice he offered to us to build an enduring and positive relationship with our puppy by following the homework for us that he left. He is a great trainer for both our puppy and us, and he accomplished a lot in the first visit.

Andy was great! In our first session, he was able to teach us so much about communicating with our exuberant 6 mo.-old puppy. She took to responding in the first session & we see a roadmap to her becoming the best girl she can be!

Andy was awesome for our first training session! We went over so much in the three hours and I’m already seeing a difference in my 12 week old pup after implementing his techniques all day long after. Cannot recommend Bark Busters training enough! Our dog was a terrible leash puller. We tried multiple training methods / YouTube tutorials and could not get him to stop. However, we saw results within the first hour of working with Andy. Andy gave us a new way of thinking about training and adapted to our dog’s specific needs & motivations. Absolutely worth the investment!

Andy was truly AMAZING. I learned so much in our first session and saw an immediate change in my 6month mini goldendoodle! It's day 2 since our session and my pup is sleeping (without a fight) in his crate, not jumping when greeting and not begging for food. I know it will be journey, but Andy helped me set the foundation!!

My puppy is only 4 lbs, she is a lot of work. Since we got her during COVID, I tried training her myself. I was not seeing any consistency in her behavior. That's when I turned to Bark Busters. We hired Andy to help us improve our 4 yo dog’s door manners, control her barking and leash pulling. He educated with essential needs of every dogs and of the theory behind the training tools he provided. He showed us how to train her for our exact needs and made us do it and gave us constructive comments so we can do it right or better. Our first walk during the training, our dog stopped pulling immediately and seemed like a different dog! He was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Our dog loved him right away and our dog usually do not like other people!

Andy was so helpful and we were surprised how he could train Cooper in the first session. Just had my training session on yesterday. Andy was great! I saw instant results with my puppy. It was well worth the investment. This session gave me hope that as a first-time pet owner that I can do this. I was doubtful beforehand, but I'm hopeful now. It is going to take work, consistency and commitment on my part, but the immediate results from yesterday has motivated me to stick with the plan that Andy laid out for me to follow. I highly recommend him as a trainer.

Andy saved me and my pup! I have trained 4 dogs, big and small, in my lifetime and none of the techniques I had used in the past worked with Mobi. She was bitting me so much, (not in a playful or teething way) that my arms were scratched and scabbed. Not to mention having to deal with the other usual puppy issues. I was hesitant to spend the money for Bark Busters because I am self-employed and the pandemic has hit me hard financially. But I was starting to think I had made a mistake adopting my puppy! It broke my heart to think I might have to give her back. Andy came to my home and spent over 3 hours with me and Mobi. She hasn't bitten once since that day!!! Andy showed me several techniques to use to make Mobi understand that I am the leader and she needs to follow my commands. We are working on her leash walking skills and it's amazing to see her looking to me for direction. I believe Mobi is a happier dog since we are communicating so much better with each other. I haven't had a pet/puppy in our home in over thirty years, but since I retired I thought I would like the company. I wanted a puppy but each time I thought about it I became overwhelmed with the process. I went online to find a dog training, I was told with the COVID-19 no one was willing to come out until I found Bark Busters, I spoke with Andy over the phone and I must admit I was still a little skeptical! Now, I say all of that to say, I now have a new family member and I also have a first rate trainer! Andy is Top notch. We have an anxious rescue dog who pulled extremely hard on her leash, but after Andy’s training and guidance, she has already made enormous progress. The indoor and outdoor training techniques Andy taught and guided us through have been easy to replicate day after day, and have proved to be game changers for us and our dog. Andy is very responsive, and was quick to respond with additional help and guidance. I can’t recommend Andy enough!

Andy was very professional and knowledgeable. He taught me how to communicate with my dog, and the results became apparent almost immediately. My dog would become aggressive/excited at the mere sight of a dog on our walks. After our training session we went out on a walk to test his training, and he was totally calm. Andy is an absolute lifesaver. My puppy was chewing on everything and wasn’t able to understand the word “no.” The tones and body language I learned yesterday are already working. She now knows not to chew the remote and my slippers, will stay at a distance if I’m cooking on a hot stove, and will come to me whenever I want. This has all happened in the last 36 hours. Where to begin?! Long story short, my dog Hartley is a SUPER timid and anxiety rid-in dog. Hartley is a rescue and I had no idea a dog could be that scared of EVERYTHING. It was not a problem (we honestly thought is was cute), until she finally lunged at a waitress and nipped the back of her leg. I sat there shocked and almost in tears. As we all know it could have been worse and I knew it was only going to get worse if we didn't fix this. I got online right away and looked up in home training (which I think is important in truly fixing bad behavior habits). I stumbled upon Bark Busters and they were BEYOND amazing. They answered me right away, called me to talk through what was going on, and never made me feel pressured to book with them. They just wanted to inform me and support me and Hartley. I ended up booking because they are with you for forever! They are in this for the long run and Andy does an amazing job of making you feel like this is a Team effort. He came to our house three days later and really taught me from the ground up. I feel like I literally know what my dog is thinking now and we are totally on the same page. Andy is a great trainer - for my dog, Taffy, and for me! We concentrated on Taffy's barking in the back yard - her barking decreased significantly after the first session; and barking and jumping at guests at the front door - again, I learned to set a perimeter and Taffy has learned to stay outside until invited in! We've now started to stop her pulling on the leash while taking a walk. It's been a great experience!

We are so lucky to have Andy guiding us through this puppy training journey! We had group puppy training class before and it didn’t work. We had to keep using treats to teach our puppy and often time that caused him upset stomach and we hate that. Andy successfully transformed our high energy, crazy barking and biting shiba monster to a calm, relaxed puppy within only 2 hours! and more importantly, using no treat! We highly recommend Bark Busters and Andy!

Andy was fantastic. Within 2 1/2 hours he achieved much more than me and 3 trainers have done over 4 years. By the time Andy left, my dog Teddy was well on his way to being a well behaved dog. It was worth every penny.

10/10! Would recommend Andy to all my friends and family. I just can't believe how much my dogs have changed after only one session! It is crazy to believe after about 2 hours my pit bull Marley who was previously very people and dog aggressive, now no longer barks and growl at other people or dogs. Walking Marley use to be embarrassing and for about a month I wouldn't even walk him past the grassy area in front of our condo buildings. I just couldn't trust Marley and feared he was going to hurt someone or someones dog. I literally can walk by any dog in my neighborhood now and Marley doesn't even pay them any mind. The story with Andy gets even better! I have a french bulldog who's name is Snookie. Snookie spent her days pacing my condo, bark, bark, bark, bark, BARKING! Anytime someone walked past the condo door, anytime a loud truck drove by, if my ringer was turned up to loud, she would bark non stop. Since Andy left, my dog has not barked once! ITS CRAZY!!! He taught me how to "speak dog." At first I thought he was joking, BUT HE WAS SERIOUS. The methods are simple and easy and I can't believe how well it works. It's almost as if Andy literally gave me two dogs that identically look the same, but act more well behaved, and took my insane ones to a far away land. Andy has truly saved my life and I don't know where I would be without him. Marley, Snookie, and I thank him from the bottom of our hearts! If you are having dog problems I am 100% confident Andy can help you fix them! Just don't forget to practice the exercises once he leaves and you will be golden!
